About this role

We're looking for:

A Video Editor who will own the creation of engaging short-form social videos for Nitra's U.S. audience. We need someone with a strong sense of pacing, hooks, storytelling, captions, and sound design who can independently take a video from raw footage to a final, polished delivery. (📍 Taipei-based only)

\nYour responsibilities will include:
  • Editing short-form vertical social videos from raw footage through to final delivery

  • Using AI tools (e.g., Claude) to organize transcripts and prepare editing outlines

  • Independently managing the full editing process — footage selection, rough cuts, captions, sound design, revisions, and export

  • Crafting strong hooks and pacing that hold audience attention and drive engagement

  • Following creative briefs and brand guidelines

  • Incorporating feedback quickly and iterating on cuts

  • Contributing to video ideation, motion graphics, or testimonial/interview edits where applicable

You have:
  • A portfolio featuring short-form social video work

  • A strong sense of pacing, hooks, storytelling, captions, and sound design

  • Proficiency in Premiere Pro and/or CapCut

  • Intermediate English proficiency

  • Comfort using AI tools (e.g., Claude) to organize transcripts and independently complete a short-form video from raw footage to final delivery

  • Experience creating content for U.S. or international audiences (a plus)

  • Video ideation or scripting experience (a plus)

  • Motion graphics skills / proficiency in After Effects (a plus)

  • Testimonial or interview editing experience (a plus)

  • Experience working with brand guidelines (a plus)

  • The ability to work independently and respond well to feedback

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain creative decisions
