What You Will Do
Maintenance Technician with solid experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of production machinery and mechanical systems. Skilled in diagnosing mechanical failures, performing repairs and adjustments, and supporting production operations to ensure equipment availability and operational continuity. Strong commitment to safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities that reduce downtime and enhance operational efficiency. Adept at teamwork, technical documentation, and compliance with established maintenance procedures.
· Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on production machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal operation and availability.
· Diagnose mechanical failures in equipment through technical inspections and the use of appropriate tools, proposing effective solutions.
· Carry out repairs and adjustments on equipment, components, and mechanical systems to ensure operational continuity.
· Comply with established maintenance programs, following defined procedures, technical manuals, and standards.
· Accurately document all maintenance interventions, reporting failures, corrective actions, and equipment conditions.
· Participate in the assembly, installation, and commissioning of machinery, equipment, and mechanical systems.
· Provide technical support to production areas in resolving operational issues related to equipment.
· Identify opportunities for improvement in equipment and maintenance processes, contributing to the reduction of failures and downtime.
· Comply with industrial safety regulations and correctly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
What You Bring
Core Qualifications
- Industrial equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of production equipment
- Mechanical assembly, adjustment, and repair of equipment components
- Safe use of hand and power tools
- Basic interpretation of technical manuals, drawings, and work instructions
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices and procedures
- Ability to perform equipment setups, adjustments, and changeovers
- Ability to follow established maintenance procedures and accurately document completed work
- Understanding of quality requirements within a regulated manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field preferred
- Experience maintaining and troubleshooting equipment in a medical device or other regulated manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems
- Experience troubleshooting production equipment and identifying equipment failures
- Experience supporting root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability practices
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and controlled manufacturing environments
- Experience working under established quality, safety, and documentation requirements
