POSITION SUMMARY
The Bank Reconciler is tasked with ensuring accurate and timely bank account reconciliations across multiple accounts, involving daily and monthly preparations, discrepancy resolutions, and maintaining robust banking relationships. Responsibilities also include delivering reconciliations to clients, conducting audits to ensure accurate fund balances, managing general ledger entries, and enhancing reconciliation procedures. This role demands exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to confidentiality while providing high-level customer service to a range of stakeholders.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Prepare bank account reconciliations for multiple accounts.
- Research and resolve reconciliation items.
- Maintain proper banking relationships with multiple banks.
- Deliver bank reconciliations to clients timely and accurately.
- Maintain proper audits to ensure claims system Fund Balance is accurate on Assured Benefit Administrators’ owned bank accounts.
- Maintain proper techniques for downloading bank activity.
- Provide a high level of customer service to clients, brokers, internal customers (i.e., Account Management and Sales), and Senior Level Management.
- Make general ledger entries related to bank reconciliations.
- Conduct general ledger reconciliations.
- Write and/or review Standard Operating Procedures for reconciliations.
- Protect the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- 5+ years’ experience in bank reconciliations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting procedures and principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High Level of accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information that must not be shared with others.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Intermediate-level skills with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint.
- Healthcare Administration knowledge preferred.
- Must be able to commute to our Dallas location daily.
