POSITION PURPOSE
In this dynamic role, you’ll take on a variety of administrative and office support responsibilities while serving as a trusted partner to the Executive Director. You’ll need to be comfortable juggling priorities, working under pressure, handling sensitive information with discretion, and anticipating needs before they arise. But this role is about more than keeping things organized—it’s about making a difference. You’ll have the opportunity to identify new and effective ways to strengthen educational initiatives, improve processes, and support the continued success of New Creations. Travel to all Minnesota New Creations location, Big Lake, Blaine, Brooklyn Park, Burnsville, Crocus Hill (St. Paul), Hugo, Lakeville, Lexington, Lino Lakes, Maple Grove, Prior Lake, Riverdale (Coon Rapids), Rush Creek (Maple Grove), St. Michael, The Lodge (Ramsey), Valley View (Burnsville), and Waconia.

SITE SUPPORT - QUALITY AND EDUCATION
Partner within initial education training and extension training for classroom development directors on their role and responsibilities
Accreditation Certification / Recertification of Parent Aware
Meets with Site Directors monthly/as needed to monitor and track Center Qualifications and Progress in regards to maintaining Accreditation status/requirements.
Virtually maintains a company tracker of all center qualifications (Develop, etc)
Maintains relationships with appropriate Trainers for New Creations accreditation success (Develop, Parent Aware, etc)
Provides training and audits comprehension, completion, and execution of Child Assessments, Parent-Teacher Conferences, and Child Files bi-annually/as instructed by the Executive Director.
COMPANY WORKSHOPS / CONFERENCES / TRAININGS
Partners with Executive Director to structure specified trainings on an ongoing basis including All Company Staff Development Days, Monthly Trainings, etc.
Assists the Executive Director in the vision for companywide teacher workshops. Helps maintain and establish relationships with trainers and influencers to speak and train at company workshops throughout the year.
Supports the Executive Director in creating, offering, and providing conferences & virtual small groups to New Creations staff
Implements the framework, established by the Executive, regarding educational assessment feedback tools for parents & staff to that provide New Creations annual feedback on our program.
Helps provide quarterly educational assessment feedback tools for directors to provide to both parents and staff in order to obtain a pulse on current execution of New Creations standards, which will allow for the Executive Director of Education Development to create a plan of action to improve or maintain projected results for the Annual Feedback Assessment.

QualificationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must be at least 18 years old and Associates Degree in a related field is preferred
Experience with Parent Aware
Two to three years of experience as a Teacher or two to three years of leadership experience in related field
Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legislative guidelines
Highly skilled with a variety of technology platforms (Word, Spreadsheets, Canva, etc)
Demonstrates qualities of an effective leader including a genuine concern for others, excellent
listening and problem-solving capabilities.
State DHS background check and fingerprints shall determine that the applicant has not been “convicted of a felony... has no criminal record that the commissioner reasonably believes renders the person unsuitable to be employed in a child care center.”
All required DCYF orientation training completed first day of employment
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
With or without reasonable accommodation this position requires:
Travel to all sites as needed
Extensive sitting and computer work on office days
Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling.
Extensive standing and walking; sitting on the floor and on low (12”) chairs.
Relatively frequent exposure to loud noises (baby crying, toys falling and other common occurrences of children at play).
