Position Summary:
The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team, overseeing all financial operations, investor relations, capital raising, and corporate strategy. This individual must have a proven track record in investment banking, Wall Street finance, Big 4 audit, and executive-level leadership at publicly traded companies. A strong background in digital healthcare is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will bring strategic financial insight, deep capital markets expertise, and experience navigating the complexities of a publicly listed company.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute the company's financial strategy to support business growth, innovation, and long-term value creation.
  • Capital Markets & Fundraising: Lead equity and debt financing activities, including IPO readiness, secondary offerings, and private placements.
  • Public Company Compliance & Reporting: Oversee SEC filings, SOX compliance, and financial reporting to ensure adherence to GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Investor Relations: Serve as a primary liaison with Wall Street analysts, Institutional investors, Family Offices, Sovereign Wealth Funds and industry stakeholders to communicate the company's financial performance and strategic vision.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions: Identify and execute M&A and LBOopportunities, strategic partnerships, and licensing deals to accelerate growth and expand the company's portfolio.
  • Operational & Risk Management: Implement financial controls, risk mitigation strategies, and operational efficiencies to optimize financial performance.
  • Executive Leadership & Corporate Governance: Partner with the CEO, Board of Directors, and senior leadership team to shape corporate strategy and drive financial decision-making.
Key Qualifications:
  • Education: MBA or equivalent degree from a top-tier business school (Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, etc.)
  • Experience:
    • 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.
    • Investment banking, Wall Street finance experience (e.g. Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, Bain Capital) is required.
    • Previous experience as CFO or senior finance executive in a publicly traded company is mandatory.
    • Expertise in biotech, life sciences, or healthcare is highly preferred.
  • Capital Markets Expertise: Extensive experience in IPOs, public and private fundraising, M&A, and investor relations.
  • Technical & Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEC reporting, GAAP, SOX compliance, and corporate governance.
  • Leadership & Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and articulate complex financial strategies to investors and board members.
