SERVICE PORTER - MUST work Saturdays

Job Summary:

The Automotive Service Porter is responsible for assisting with various tasks in an automotive service department. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers and directing them to the appropriate service advisor or technician.
• Parking and retrieving customer vehicles in a safe and organized manner.
• Assisting technicians with moving vehicles in and out of service bays.
• Running errands for the service department, such as picking up parts or delivering customer vehicles.
• Keeping the service department clean and organized, including sweeping and mopping floors and maintaining an orderly appearance in customer waiting areas.
• Assisting with customer shuttle services, driving customers to and from their destinations as necessary.
• Maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies and notifying management when reordering is necessary.
• Following all safety protocols and wearing protective clothing as required.
• Assisting with other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills/Abilities: 

• Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Good communication skills

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to stand for long periods of time 

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds 

• Ability to bend, kneel, and climb ladders as needed
