WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Exemplifies Muckleshoot Casino Resort’s values and sets a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
- Practice, support and promote the vision, mission, and values of the Muckleshoot Casino Resort.
- Accurately responds and attends to guest requests including preparing food and beverage items, wrapping food products, and planning them in display cases.
- Prepare and maintain concession counter cleanliness, before, during and after guests are served.
- Assist guests with selection of food and beverage items (i.e., explaining daily specials or answering preparation questions).
- Follow standards for display cases; maintains, cleans, and restocks as needed.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by delivery of food in an efficient and friendly manner, as deemed by outlet, may call out guest for counter pick up, or deliver to table.
- Follow cash handling and cash register procedures.
- Reconciliation of daily “end of shift” financial transactions.
- Perform assigned daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
- Inform management of guest requests, inventory shortages, replenishment needs and food spoilage.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
- Provide excellent guest service to ensure a positive guest experience.
- Create, maintain, and facilitate a positive work environment; promotes positive team member relations and reports issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Ability to obtain a Class B gaming license.
- Must maintain a valid WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit.
- Must maintain a Class 12 and/or Class 13 permit required
- 1 (one) year counter serving experience preferred.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
HOW YOU’LL BE SUCCESSFUL
- Knowledge of all beverages, and the ability to make flavored and other specialty drinks with consistency.
- Knowledge of health & safety standards, and safety regulations as required
- Ability to demonstrate a well-groomed presence and always maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to follow specific instructions. Read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Ability to learn and use technical equipment (espresso machine).
- Ability to handle stress under pressure.
- Ability to provide quality guest service.
- Ability to accurately exchange money with guests.
- Ability to reconcile all cash and money at the end of the day.
- Ability and willingness to maintain a clean, healthy, and safe working environment.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
