About this role

Job Purpose

Lead day-to-day operations of MOVA's cashback platform in the Thailand market ; owning merchant/platform partnerships, campaign execution, and cross-functional delivery between tech, marketing, and regional HQ.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, IT, Engineering, or related field.

  1. Experience: Min. 3 years in operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role. Digital apps, e-commerce, fintech, or marketplace background strongly preferred.

  1. Technical foundation (mandatory):

  • Working understanding of mobile/web app product cycles (release flow, QA/UAT, bug triage, incident escalation).

  • Able to read and interpret data ; dashboards, funnels, transaction/settlement reports; comfortable with SQL basics, Excel/Google Sheets advanced, and BI tools (Metabase, Looker, Power BI).

  • Familiar with API-based integrations and partner onboarding at a conceptual level ; able to communicate requirements to engineering without needing translation.

  • Understands app KPIs: DAU/MAU, retention, conversion, GMV, take rate, cashback liability.

  1. Language (mandatory):

  • Mandarin — business fluent, spoken and written; required for daily coordination with regional HQ, principals, and Chinese-speaking partners.

  • English — business fluent, spoken and written; required for documentation, reporting, and regional stakeholder communication.

  • Thai is an advantage.

  1. Business acumen:

  • Understands unit economics of a cashback/commission model ; merchant commission, cashback payout, margin, and burn control.

  • Able to build and defend an operational budget, forecast volume, and translate business targets into operational plans.

  • Basic grasp of contracts, SLAs, and commercial terms with platform partners.

  1. Mobility (mandatory): Willing and available to be based in Thailand for a minimum committed term (recommend stating 1-2 years), with valid travel documents and eligibility for a Thai work permit.
