Job Description

We are currently seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neonatologist to join the Neonatology team at Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center in Portland, Oregon.The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide high-quality, comprehensive neonatal care. You will join an integrated and compassionate team of physicians and supportive clinical and administrative staff, providing advanced inpatient neonatal care in a busy Level III NICU and telehealth consultation services.


What You Can Expect: 

  • Collegial team of four Neonatologists and two Neonatal Nurse Practitioners
  • 20-bed, single patient room Level III NICU at Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center
  • Daily census ranging from 12-19 patients
  • 24/7 Neonatologist coverage with daytime NNP support
  • Care for infants as early as 25 weeks gestation
  • Advanced neonatal services including total body cooling, EEG, aEEG, HFOV, CMV, iNO, and bubble CPAP
  • Telehealth consultation support for Westside Medical Center Level I nursery
  • Access to a physician-friendly advanced Epic EMR

Minimum Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Eligible in Neonatology


Your Total Rewards:

The annual salary for this position is $354,000-$399,000 which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, Morlen offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.

  • Salary range: $329,600-$374,600 
  • Lifestyle Stipend: $24,400 annual bonus
  • Relocation Allowance - up to $15,000
