Monitors the entire production facility and ensures product specifications are met. Assuring Quality policies and procedures are adhered too. Assures compliance with local and federal regulatory agencies. Provides back up support to the Quality Assurance Supervisor.

General Duties & Responsibilities

Auditing and training of QA Technicians to assure procedures are being followed and customer expectations are being met.
Analyzes daily paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
Assists in the completion of monthly, yearly and customer audits.
Contributes to developing new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities
Communicates issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities
Prepares and presents technical and program information to team members and management
When specifications, and policies/ procedures are not followed, will shut down the line/ area until product specifications or satisfactory conditions are met.
Must maintain a high level of confidentiality of all privileged information
Performs any duties assigned or directed
Daily monitoring of good manufacturing practices
Provide supporting documentation to supervisor for disciplinary action
Continuously monitoring quality checks and relaying information to supervisors
Assist in preparation of plants for audit inspections
Assist in Safety Program training in addition to any QA related training
Communicate with off shift counterparts on a daily basis
Willingness to help others and represent the company in a positive and helpful manner to all employees
Valid driver’s license required
Verify that all customer specifications are being followed
Verify that all Monogram Appetizers procedures are being followed
Work with enthusiasm and sense of urgency daily
Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good manufacturing practices
Must wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as provided

QualificationsEDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Associate degree or 3 years related food experience desired. Ability to understand and communicate effectively. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, round, compute averages and percentages, and interpret bar graphs.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Environment/Working conditions

The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands, fingers and arms to handle, feel and reach. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

This role will require extended hours based on production needs, including work to be performed after regular business hours and on weekends.
