About this role

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner

    Organizes all saleable inventory within warehouse

    Operates heavy material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, hand trucks, dolly)

    Receives shipments and verifies receipts

    Housekeeping in branch (sweeping, cleaning, straightening as needed)

    Conduct inventory count at warehouse

    Coordinating transportation on weekly shipments

    Loading and Unloading trucks with various equipment and by hand

    Offloads pallets from incoming shipments and stocks material in warehouse based on company procedures.

    Pull products for orders, wrap, strap, and seal for shipping to customers or other regionals.

    Reports any damaged inventory or discrepancies to supervisor.

    Works diligently to complete all daily transactions promptly.

    Handle and dispose of material waste as per company procedure.

    Able to handle machine repairs and cleaning after providing training.

Requirements

    Ability to lift or move heavy products  

    Must be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, stand, sit and reach

    Comfortable working in an environment where there are forklifts, machinery, large trucks, and other standard warehouse equipment

    Ability to read and do basic math with the help of calculator.

    The ability to work well as part of a team

    Basic written and verbal communication skills

Education and/or Experience                                                   

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 6 months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
