The Mimosa House is hiring a Host/Busser for our Blue Ravine location in Folsom. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has a positive attitude, and wants to gain experience in the restaurant industry.
No restaurant experience? No problem! We're happy to train motivated individuals who are eager to learn and become part of our team.
Position Summary
As a Host/Busser, you'll help create a welcoming experience for every guest by greeting them with a smile, seating guests, clearing and resetting tables, and assisting our servers throughout the shift. This position plays an important role in keeping our restaurant running smoothly during our busiest times.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Manage the waitlist and seat guests efficiently.
- Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly.
- Assist servers with food delivery and guest requests.
- Keep the dining room, lobby, and host stand clean and organized.
- Restock menus, silverware, and other front-of-house supplies.
- Work closely with managers and teammates to provide outstanding guest service.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized restaurant throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- No experience necessary—we provide training!
- Friendly, dependable, and eager to learn.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
Schedule
- Primarily Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
- Weekend availability is required.
- Morning and afternoon shifts.
