The opportunity:

As the Client Onboarding Coordinator, you will report to the Head of Customer Success and take ownership of leading MillTech’s US client onboarding operation, while also working closely with the wider Customer Success and Operations team to support clients globally.

Working with Business Development, Compliance and Operations, you will sit at the intersection of guiding clients through the initial engagement of their onboarding journey through to live trading. This is a client facing role that is pivotal to the growth of the business, working with new and existing clients to begin and expand their trading relationship with MillTech and its counterparty banks.

You will be expected to build long-term relationships with clients, have an entrepreneurial mindset, and demonstrate initiative and determination when it comes to fostering both an efficient and positive client onboarding culture.


Key responsibilities

  • Lead US client onboarding operations, working autonomously and using initiative to drive the business forward.
  • Work closely with new and existing clients, ensuring a smooth, timely, and efficient client experience across their operational, commercial, regulatory, financial, and technical trading set-up.
  • Strong communication skills to manage the needs of clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Act as a senior point of contact, supporting client requests across all aspects of their relationship with MillTech and helping them achieve their business goals.
  • Proactively engage with clients and maintain regular contact to address any issues/ requirements and optimise the overall customer experience.
  • Take a lifetime-value approach to customer relationships, identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell relevant products and services.
  • Respond to customer feedback, questions, and concerns in a professional, efficient, and agile manner.


Skills and experience

  • Proven previous experience in a client onboarding role, ideally within financial services.
  • Proven previous experience with Institutional clients, particularly Asset Managers/Hedge Funds.
  • Knowledge of different types of investment structures/fund structures are a benefit.
  • Knowledge of capital markets, particularly FX is a benefit.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot is a benefit.
  • A self-starter, confident working autonomously and comfortable taking full responsibility for leading the US operation.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with a proactive approach to engaging customers and understanding their requirements and goals.
  • A strong commitment to building long-term, high-quality customer relationships and developing best-in-class customer success practices and policies.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, working collaboratively with colleagues across the business, external counterparties and vendors to resolve customer issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining consistently high standards.
  • A positive, can-do attitude, with a willingness to think creatively and explore innovative solutions to challenges.
