Help Someone Take the First Step Toward Recovery
At Milestone Treatment Center, an admissions call can be the beginning of someone changing their life.
We’re looking for a motivated, compassionate Admissions Coordinator who can connect with people, build trust quickly, and help individuals and families navigate one of the most important decisions they may ever make.
This is a consultative, performance-driven role for someone who enjoys talking with people, solving problems, overcoming obstacles, and turning conversations into action. You’ll work with prospective clients, families, healthcare professionals, and referral partners while guiding individuals from their first conversation through admission into treatment.
You’ll also have the opportunity to earn uncapped performance-based commission while doing work with a genuine purpose.
What You’ll Do
Serve as a first point of contact for prospective clients, families, healthcare professionals, and referral partners
Build trust with callers, understand their circumstances, and help them navigate available treatment options
Conduct pre-assessments to gather information and determine appropriate next steps
Verify insurance benefits and explain coverage and treatment options clearly
Identify and address barriers to treatment, including finances, transportation, family concerns, employment, and fear or uncertainty about entering treatment
Manage inbound inquiries from multiple lead sources and adapt your approach based on each individual’s needs and readiness for treatment
Own your admissions pipeline from initial inquiry through admission, maintaining consistent and timely follow-up
Use Salesforce or a comparable CRM to manage leads, opportunities, follow-ups, and activity
Develop strong professional relationships with referral sources and community partners
Collaborate with clinical, medical, and operational teams to coordinate a smooth admissions experience
Participate in an after-hours rotation to ensure prospective clients can receive support when they need it
Maintain accurate, timely documentation while protecting client confidentiality
Work toward individual and team admissions goals, conversion metrics, and key performance indicators
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who combines empathy with drive. You should be comfortable having difficult conversations, following up consistently, working toward measurable goals, and asking for the commitment when treatment is the right next step.
Preferred qualifications include:
2+ years of experience in behavioral health admissions, healthcare sales, inside sales, or another high-volume consultative sales environment
Experience managing a pipeline and consistently following up with prospective clients
A track record of working toward conversion goals, KPIs, quotas, or other measurable performance targets
Experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform
Strong phone presence and excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to identify objections, solve problems, and move conversations forward
Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
Behavioral health, mental health, or substance use treatment experience is highly preferred
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role isn’t simply about taking calls. Our strongest Admissions Coordinators build relationships, follow through, and create a clear path from inquiry to treatment.
Performance is measured through lead-to-admission conversion, speed to lead, pipeline management, follow-up consistency, call quality, documentation accuracy, client experience, teamwork, and overall admissions performance.
