We are looking for an Audiology Assistant to join our team. We are an established practice that is continually growing. Responsibilities

Audiology assistant checks - routine hearing aid checks, warranty expiration visits, Loss & Damage claims, repairs, etc.)
Perform in office repairs of hearing aids and assistive devices, when possible and send aids to the manufacturers when needed.
Order hearing aids, repairs, accessories, chargers, receivers, etc. from manufacturers in a timely manner
Counsel patient regarding repair warranties, Loss & Damage coverage (manufacturer and ESCO), and service plan options
Appropriately charge for all parts and services. Document patient fees and payments on hearing aid encounter tickets and invoices, when applicable.
Ensure patients schedule appropriate follow up visits with audiologists and audiology assistants
Assist with hearing aid package check-in/programming
Ensure clinical rooms and repair rooms are well stocked. Order clinical supplies, manufacturer supplies, batteries, and office supplies, as needed.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent customer service and computer skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Friendly, personable demeanor
Detail oriented
Ability to multi-task
A minimum experience of one year experience in the medical field is preferred but not required.
