About this role

Key Responsibilities

  • Guarantee the safety of his/her personnel by wearing their Personal Protective Equipment
  • Provide preventive and corrective maintenance to equipment
  • Comply with the maintenance program (weekend program)
  • Maintain maintenance shop lockers in 5S’s
  • Comply with our Maintenance Program (History card, work orders, Analyse MTTR/MTBF, preventive maintenance through the electronic maintenance program, Maximo)
  • Perform root cause analysis with team member
  • Maintain & update TS/IATF/EMS/OHSAS documents/MOS documents & KPI
  • Guarantee the safety of his personnel, by correcting unsafe acts and conditions, ensure strict implementation of LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures, Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and plant safety standards
  • Comply with the personnel management role (vacations, over time, movements, leave of absence, reports for the payroll area, etc.)
  • Maintain and preserve the tooling sets in good conditions
  • Maximo tool implementation in plant
  • Update the spare part stock, Optimize spare parts inventory to avoid shortages or overstocking, coordinate with procurement for critical spare availability, Maintain minimum stock levels and critical spare list
  • Update checklist/WI/SMP of the process as required
  • Team Management & Development, Train and develop maintenance technicians, Monitor team performance and discipline
  • Continuous Improvement, Drive Kaizen, Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, Improve equipment efficiency (OEE improvement initiatives)

Academic & Experience

Diploma in Electrical with experience in below mentioned details:

  • 3-5 Years of experience in preventive and corrective maintenance for industrial equipment
  • 1-2 experience in industrial controls Troubleshooting of PLC, drives, sensors, and automation systems, Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic drawings.

Technical Skills

Electrical Maintenance

•Industrial electrical troubleshooting (Three-phase motors and control circuits, Contactor, relay, MCB, MCCB and overload relay, Electrical panel troubleshooting)

•Electrical wiring and termination, Electrical drawing / control schematic reading, & electrical testing equipment)

•Sensors, proximity switches and limit switches, Encoder basic troubleshooting in 24 VDC control systems

•Motor/VFD fault diagnosis & VFD operation and basic parameter setting

 

Industrial Control Automation

•Basic PLC hardware knowledge & PLC I/O troubleshooting, PLC input/output signal tracing, Interlock troubleshooting, Industrial control circuit troubleshooting

 

Mechanical Maintenance

•Inspection and replacement of Bearing, Shaft, Coupling inspection and replacement, Motor–gearbox alignment, Chain and sprocket, Belt and pulley, Mechanical clearance and play checking, Lubrication practices, Abnormal noise/vibration identification, Basic dimensional measurement.

Ball Screw & Linear Motion System

  • Inspection and maintenance of Ball screw backlash checking, Ball screw alignment & replacement, LM Block / Linear Guide inspection & replacement, Identification of wear, vibration and abnormal noise

  • Coupling between servo motor and ball screw

Hydraulic System

  • Hydraulic circuit understanding, troubleshooting, Directional control valve, Pressure relief valve, Flow control valve

  • Hydraulic cylinder troubleshooting, seal leakage identification, Accumulator troubleshooting.

Pneumatic System

  • Pneumatic circuit understanding & troubleshooting Solenoid valve, directional valve, Pneumatic cylinder troubleshooting, Flow control valve, Pressure regulator, Air leakage identification
