Required Qualifications

Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field.
Minimum of five (5) years of Christian counseling experience.
Demonstrated ability to integrate biblical truth, Christian principles, and faith-based counseling practices into client care.
Personal commitment to the Christian faith and agreement with the ministry's mission, values, and statement of faith.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
Ability to work effectively with individuals facing life-controlling issues, relational challenges, emotional struggles, and spiritual concerns.

In the Counselor position, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Adhere to best practices in counseling, and legal and ethical requirements within CWC Monroe.
Counsel with assigned clients weekly which includes:

Leading each client through Keys to Freedom
Completing all associated paperwork, including required readings, required assignments.
Reviewing as submitted by the client.

Meet with Counseling Director on a weekly basis.

Schedule: 8:00 am- 5:00 pm Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am- 12:00 pm Friday (36 hours/week)

Compensation: $46,800 - $56,160/year
