Responsibilities

How you’ll make an impact in this role 

  • Troubleshoots complex system failures, installs electrical upgrades, and proposes long-term component strategies aimed at maximizing facility cost savings. 
  • Authoring and executes preventative maintenance schedules and monthly reports to ensure all electrical infrastructure complies with NFPA, NEC, and TJC codes. 
  • Responds to after-hours safety emergencies and develops departmental contingency protocols for power outages while maintaining tools, vehicles, and PPE safety standards. 
  • Coordinates energy management systems and potentially travels across a defined region as a dedicated technician to perform multi-site electrical services and billing tasks. 
  • Serves as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for lower-level electricians, leads department orientations for new hires, and manages high-level special projects. 

Qualifications

Required:  

  • Relevant License  

 

Must have one or more of the following:  

  • High School Diploma  
  • Graduate of trade school and 3 years’ experience  
  • 5 years’ relevant experience  
  • Other equivalent combination of relevant education or experience
