Responsibilities

How you’ll make an impact in this role 

  • Direct all facilities operations, strategic planning, and budget management while ensuring full compliance with CMS, TJC, and other regulatory standards across buildings and grounds. 
  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of staffing, including hiring, coaching, training, and performance management to maintain high employee satisfaction and efficient plant operations. 
  • Manage major infrastructure, remodeling, and construction projects by supervising vendor bids, contract compliance, and coordinate system shutdowns with internal partners. 
  • Champion continuous improvement and quality management by identifying process efficiencies, managing risks, and troubleshooting complex technical or operational issues. 
  • Provide strong, customer-centric leadership across all organizational levels, utilizing advanced problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to navigate a fast-paced environment. 

 

 


Qualifications

What minimum requirements you’ll need 

Education: 

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field -preferred  
  • Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM) -preferred 

 

 

Work Experience: 

  • 5 years’ experience in healthcare facilities management 
  • Knowledge and experience with The Joint Commission, NFPA, state and federal regulations for healthcare facilities required  
  • Three years’ experience in a large, multi-campus healthcare system preferred
