Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – Weekend Pediatrics | Part-Time & PRN

As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you'll provide one-on-one therapy in children's homes, building meaningful relationships with patients and families while helping children improve their communication, feeding, and swallowing skills. \nSpeech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – Qualifications and Responsibilities- Provide pediatric speech therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Implement individualized treatment plans to address:
- Speech disorders
- Language delays
- Articulation and phonological disorders
- Feeding and swallowing challenges
- Social communication skills
- Monitor patient progress and communicate treatment updates to the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Educate and support parents and caregivers with home programs and therapeutic strategies.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation.
- Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, family-centered care.
- Build positive, lasting relationships with children and their families through compassionate, one-on-one care.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
- Current Texas SLPA license (or eligible to obtain prior to start date).
- One year of experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for helping children achieve their communication goals.
