Meadow Gold Dairy in Great Falls, MT has immediate job openings for fast paced and motivated Cooler Laborer to perform any combination of picking, pulling, and building orders, palletizing products, loading, unloading, staging trailers and materials for outgoing delivery, and working any station or line that is assigned. Additionally, Cooler Laborers are responsible for safely operating various material and handling equipment and machinery within a warehouse, cooler, or dock environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Employees shall abide by company rules and regulations, including all GMP’S and SQF practices, working with safety first.
- During your shift you are to keep a neat and orderly and safe work area.
- Pick and load orders in accordance with established procedures and paperwork. All orders must be picked accurately using clean, undamaged products within the acceptable code requirements.
- Responsible for racking and rotating products using the first in first out method (FIFO). This includes products made in house and products purchased from other manufacturers for resale.
- Must be able to operate both manual and electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Responsible for filling out all required paperwork accurately and neatly. sign and date paperwork as required. write code dates, case and pallet counts on all outgoing load sheets and manifests for traceability reasons.
- Must be able to work for long periods of time in an extreme work environment. stand and walk continuously while wheeling, pulling, and loading products
- Responsible for reporting any food safety or food quality related issues to a supervisor.
- Perform any other duties assigned by a supervisor, distribution or cooler manager
- Must be able to abide by all weight restrictions on trailers and route trucks.
- Must be able to perform any cleaning duties that are requested by quality control.
- Must hold a valid MT CDL A and Med Card (or able to obtain the Medical Card)
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must be able to climb up and in to and out of trucks, stairs, etc., for most of the shift
- Effective verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
- Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary and manually stack and move cases up to 6-8 cases high
- Must be able to work in a wet environment, work in an environment where temperature is maintained at 35–40 degrees Fahrenheit, and in outdoor temperatures throughout the year
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays
- May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals
