About this role

  • Develop schematics, CAD designs, cable drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Design mixed-signal circuits, power supplies, and processor-based systems.
  • Use CADSTAR and OrCAD for schematic design.
  • Perform circuit simulations using ADS, LTspice, and PSpice.
  • Troubleshoot board-level and system-level failures and conduct root-cause analysis.
  • Develop Python scripts and diagnostic tools for testing and debugging.
  • Conduct DFx, FMEA, design reviews, and product validation.
  • Create and maintain BOMs, test plans, manuals, and engineering documentation.
  • Release product changes through PLM and ECN processes.
  • Identify component alternatives that improve cost, quality, and availability.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Five to ten years of electrical hardware design and product-development experience.
  • Experience with mixed-signal, power supply, processor-based, and cable designs.
  • Proficiency with CADSTAR, OrCAD, ADS, LTspice, or PSpice.
  • Strong troubleshooting, failure-analysis, and root-cause-analysis skills.
  • Experience with BOMs, PLM systems, ECN processes, and manufacturing releases.
  • Python scripting experience is preferred.
  • Experience with DFx, FMEA, DOE, or Design for Manufacturability is a plus.
