About this role
Lead Food Service Worker needed for school food service in the Fairfield, NJ area Monday through Friday, day shift, 8:30 am to 1:30 pm daily. No weekends or holidays, summers off.
Must have food service experience, K-12 helpful. Prepare and serve meals. Vender ordering is required. Must have computer skills. Able to obtain the proper documentation to work in schools
Duties to include:
- Food preparation, both hot and cold according to the NSLP guidelines.
- Cooking skills.
- Serving meals.
- Use of personal protection equipment (PPE) at all times
- Ordering, inventory, stocking, etc.
- POS/cash handling.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times
