Job Description:
Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Mechanic Trainee, Mechanic, Senior Mechanic, or Lead Mechanic (depending on experience) at the Prince George’s County Organics Composting Facility (OCF) located in Upper Marlboro, MD. This position performs installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment used to support facility operations and a variety of environmental projects.Estimated Pay Range:
$43,592.64 - $87,753.12

Minimum Requirements:
Mechanic Trainee: requires no additional experience.
Mechanic: requires three (3) years of experience performing installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical equipment
Senior Mechanic: requires five (5) years of experience performing installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical equipment
Lead Mechanic – requires seven (7) years of experience performing installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical equipment
Appointment to some sites may require Commercial Driver’s License with specific endorsements.
