Signature Smile in Florence, AL is looking for an experienced, dependable, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our team. We’re looking for someone who brings positive energy to the office, takes pride in excellent patient care, and knows how to keep a busy clinical day running smoothly.

What You’ll Do
As a Dental Assistant, you’ll work closely with our doctors and clinical team to create an efficient, comfortable experience for every patient. Responsibilities include:
Assist doctors during general and restorative procedures
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
Take digital X-rays and maintain accurate patient records
Educate patients on treatment and post-operative care
Maintain sterilization and infection-control standards
Help keep the clinical schedule running efficiently
Support your teammates wherever needed to create an excellent patient experience
What We’re Looking For
Previous dental assisting experience preferred
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection-control standards
Strong communication and organizational skills
Dependable, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
A team-first attitude and genuine commitment to patient care
Required Alabama dental assisting credentials/certifications, as applicable
