About this role

  • Drive strategic sourcing and procurement activities across the China market.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with China-based suppliers and trading partners.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suitable suppliers for the company's technology and component requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a strong supplier network across the Chinese technology and manufacturing ecosystem.
  • Lead supplier negotiations to achieve competitive pricing, quality, and commercial terms.
  • Work closely with existing trading partners and suppliers to strengthen supply-chain capabilities.
  • Support the company's expansion of procurement and supply-chain operations in China.
  • Build and manage the procurement/supply-chain function as the company's China operations grow.
  • Explore sourcing opportunities in areas such as electronics, robotics, automation, semiconductors, and automotive components.
  • Support access to the broader Chinese technology and manufacturing market, particularly around the Shanghai region.


  • Requirements

  • Strong experience in strategic sourcing and procurement in China.
  • Proven experience managing China-based suppliers and trading partners.
  • Strong supplier network within the Chinese technology/manufacturing ecosystem.
  • Strong supplier negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Experience in one or more of the following sectors is preferred:
    • Electronics
    • Robotics
    • Automation
    • Semiconductors
    • Automotive components
  • Ability to build and manage a procurement/supply-chain function.
  • Strong understanding of China’s supplier and manufacturing ecosystem.
  • Ability to work closely with trading partners and suppliers to support business expansion.
  • Senior-level procurement/supply-chain experience with strong ownership and execution capabilities.
