Responsibilities

Margaritaville at Sea is seeking a strategic and analytical Revenue Management Analyst to join our growing team. This role plays a critical part in maximizing revenue performance across our cruise business by driving pricing, inventory, and yield management decisions. You will sit at the intersection of commercial strategy, demand forecasting, and market analytics, helping translate booking trends and customer demand into actionable pricing strategies that optimize both occupancy and revenue.

As a key member of the Revenue Management team, you will continuously monitor booking pace, forecast demand, analyze market conditions, and recommend pricing and inventory actions that support the company's revenue objectives. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, E-commerce, and Commercial leadership to ensure pricing strategies remain competitive and aligned with business goals.

This position is ideal for an experienced revenue management professional from the cruise, airline, hotel, car rental, travel, or hospitality industries who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys using data-driven insights to influence business performance.

QualificationsEssential Functions

Real-Time Pricing & Demand Management: Continuously monitor booking pace, pickup trends, occupancy levels, cancellations, and market demand signals to identify revenue opportunities and risks. Execute timely pricing, inventory, and availability adjustments to optimize performance across sailings and cabin categories.

Revenue & Yield Optimization: Develop, recommend, and implement data-driven pricing strategies that maximize revenue, yield, and occupancy. Evaluate the performance of fares, promotions, inventory controls, and ancillary revenue opportunities to ensure optimal commercial outcomes.

Driver Analysis: Analyze key performance indicators, booking behavior, customer demand patterns, and commercial results to uncover underlying business drivers. Use analytical insights to develop hypotheses, identify opportunities for improvement, and generate actionable recommendations.

Forecasting & Demand Planning: Support short- and long-term demand forecasting by leveraging historical trends, booking curves, seasonality, and current market conditions. Continuously refine forecasts to improve pricing decisions and revenue expectations.

Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor pricing, promotional activity, capacity changes, and broader market trends. Translate competitive and industry insights into strategic pricing recommendations that maintain market competitiveness while maximizing profitability.

Reporting & Business Intelligence: Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytical tools that provide visibility into demand, pricing, revenue performance, and forecasting metrics. Ensure stakeholders have timely access to accurate and actionable data.

Trend Tracking & Performance Monitoring: Track booking curves, occupancy trends, pricing effectiveness, promotional results, and key revenue metrics. Proactively identify deviations from forecast and recommend corrective actions to optimize near-term performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, E-commerce, Finance, Reservations, and technology partners to align pricing strategies with commercial objectives. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to improve revenue management systems, reporting capabilities, and operational processes.

Executive Reporting & Decision Support: Prepare and deliver clear, concise analyses and presentations for senior leadership. Communicate complex data findings in a meaningful way and provide recommendations that support strategic and operational decision-making.

Strategic Support & Process Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing evolution of revenue management practices by identifying opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy, pricing methodologies, reporting automation, and overall revenue optimization processes.

Data Quality & System Management: Ensure the integrity and accuracy of pricing, inventory, and performance data within revenue management systems and reporting tools. Support system testing, enhancements, and process documentation as needed.

Perform other job duties as assigned.

Experience

Minimum of 1 year of hands-on Revenue Management experience in a cruise line, airline, hotel, car rental company, or other business operating within a dynamic, inventory-based pricing environment.

Experience supporting pricing, yield management, demand forecasting, inventory controls, or revenue optimization initiatives.

Experience analyzing large datasets and translating findings into actionable business recommendations.

Experience preparing and presenting analyses, forecasts, and recommendations to management and business stakeholders.

Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment with competing priorities and deadlines.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Working knowledge of revenue management principles, including pricing strategy, demand forecasting, inventory management, yield optimization, and booking pace analysis.

Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools, specifically Power BI.

Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

Strong understanding of key revenue management metrics, performance indicators, and reporting methodologies.

Knowledge of market analysis techniques, competitor benchmarking, and trend identification.

Familiarity with revenue management, pricing, or forecasting systems preferred.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify trends, anomalies, and underlying business drivers within complex datasets.

Ability to investigate performance indicators, evaluate contributing factors, and develop data-driven hypotheses and recommendations.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and modeling functions.

Ability to read, navigate, maintain, and make basic modifications to Power BI dashboards and reports.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present complex information to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.

Ability to influence decision-making through clear, concise, and data-supported recommendations.

Direct Revenue Management experience within the cruise or airline industry.

Advanced SQL skills, including the ability to write complex queries and perform deeper data analysis.

Experience working with revenue management, pricing optimization, or forecasting platforms.

Demonstrated success identifying and implementing revenue growth opportunities through data analysis and strategic pricing decisions.

Strong business acumen with the ability to connect day-to-day pricing actions to broader commercial and organizational objectives.

Passion for travel, hospitality, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.

Travel: Up to 25% travel may be required, including shipboard assignments aboard Margaritaville at Sea vessels to gain firsthand operational and guest experience insights.

Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

This position is classified as “in-person,” which means the physical office in Orlando.
