As Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the financial performance and growth of our international organization. You will take ownership of the monthly closing and reporting cycle, support the consolidation of multiple entities, and ensure the timely delivery of accurate financial information. Through in-depth financial analysis and performance monitoring, you will translate complex data into actionable insights, enabling informed business decisions and helping stakeholders drive sustainable results.
 
Working closely with finance teams across different countries and key business partners, you will contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities. In addition, you will identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, reporting quality, and operational efficiency. Reporting directly to the Controlling Manager, you will be a trusted finance partner, actively supporting strategic initiatives, continuous improvement projects, and the achievement of business objectives. At MPL, we turn knowledge into action. Who are we looking for?

• Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in Audit, Controlling, or a similar finance role. 
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. 
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems. 
• Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a valuable asset. 
• A proactive and hands-on team player who also works effectively and independently. 
• Strong communication skills, enabling you to build relationships with stakeholders across the business. 
• Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving environment. 
• You're a team player with an optimistic outlook, yet equally      capable of excelling independently.
• Eager to take ownership, challenge the status quo, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. 
• Ready to join an ambitious and enthusiastic Finance team that acts as a true business partner and plays an active role in supporting strategic decision-making.
