Through our unique blend of logistics services and the personal advice of our enthusiastic MPL team. We’re currently looking for a new team member to join our squad in Antwerp. 

Your key responsibilities include:
 
Customer Retention and Relationship Management
• Maintain executive-level relationships 
• Conduct regular business reviews (QBRs) 
• Understand customer strategy and future needs 
• Manage customer satisfaction and resolve escalations 
• Ensure contract compliance and service delivery
 
Revenue Growth within Existing Accounts
• Identify cross-selling opportunities (air, ocean, road, warehousing, customs)
• Upsell value-added services 
• Expand into new geographies or business units 
• Support customer growth initiatives
 
Profitability Management
• Monitor customer profitability 
• Control pricing and margin leakage 
• Lead annual rate reviews 
• Manage contract renegotiations 
• Improve operational efficiency
 
Operational Excellence
• Monitor service KPIs 
• Resolve operational issues 
• Coordinate with operations and procurement teams 
• Manage supply chain disruptions 
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives
 
Strategic Customer Development
• Understand customer's supply chain strategy 
• Propose optimization projects 
• Participate in customer planning sessions 
• Support sustainability initiatives 
• Introduce digital solutions and visibility tools
 
Internal Coordination and Leadership
• Coordinate operations, procurement, customs, and warehouse teams 
• Lead account governance meetings 
• Manage bids and RFQs 
• Ensure global alignment for multinational customers
 
Risk Management
• Monitor customer financial health 
• Manage contractual risks 
• Develop contingency plans 
• Address competitive threats 
• Ensure compliance requirements are met Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor level or equivalent through relevant professional      experience
  • Proven experience in a commercial role 
  • Experience in the logistics or maritime sector is essential 
  • Understanding of sea, road, air, rail, and inland navigation      transport regulations
  • Solid knowledge of forwarding industry
