Position Title: Fuel Staff Accountant
Reports to: Sr. Accounting Manager- Fuel Operation
Job Type: Full Time
Status: Exempt
Salary Range: $60k-$70k
Location: Onsite, Lawrenceville, GA
The Fuel Staff Accountant will be responsible for accounting work needed to make sure accounts payable are processed in an efficient and timely manner.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compile, analyze and report financial information utilizing Majors policies, professional
- standards, and US GAAP
- Monitor Accounts Receivable accounts including credit card transactions
- Preform analysis and conduct reconciliations for fuel inventory accounts
- Process Electronic Funds Transfers from daily invoices
- Examine inside sales data for missing transactions and answer customer submitted help tickets
- Complete month end closing tasks as well as year-end closing
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, LOOKUPs) and other Microsoft office programs
- Attention to detail is critical
- Must have analytical abilities
- Ability to maintain composure during stressful situations
- Strong interpersonal skills required
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Fuel Accounting experience highly preferred
- 2+ or more years of experience in a related field required
