Our Facilities Planner plays an integral role in providing planning and programming services for renovation and construction projects as assigned by the System Director of Planning and Design, assists in the development of facility master plans, and assists in the development and maintenance of databases for space utilization, as-built floor plans, scheduling, and tracking all other information required for successful project completion as specified by MLHS policies, procedures, and directives. Your responsibilities would include:
- Prepare master plan-level space programs defining spaces, departments and square footage to be utilized in design solutions, including room-by-room space programs for departments to determine the type, quantity, and size of all existing and proposed rooms and spaces required to meet departments’ future needs.
- Conducts initial interviews with department administrators and key users to better understand the departmental space and configuration issues.
- Develop a functional program for each department as required to support project planning
- Work with project management or cost consultants to develop appropriate estimates of probable cost for planning solutions.
Consult with department heads and administration to develop project programs, budgets, scope of work, plans and schedules for renovation, equipment installation, new construction projects and feasibility studies.

Position: Facilities Planner
Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
Experience:
1. 10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in healthcare design
2. Highly organized and detail oriented
3. Able to work in a fast-paced environment
4. Ability to travel between Main Line Health facilities as needed
Education:
1.Bachelor Degree in Architecture, or similar background
