Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Purpose of job:
Support factory planning activities for the Greenfield Automotive Manufacturing Facility by coordinating layout planning, infrastructure planning, project monitoring, capacity planning and manufacturing readiness activities to ensure timely achievement of project milestones and SOP objectives.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Support preparation and updating of plant layouts, shop layouts and infrastructure planning documents.
- Coordinate with Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering and Production teams for infrastructure planning activities.
- Support capacity planning, utility requirement planning and manufacturing readiness activities.
- Monitor project schedules and track progress against planned milestones.
- Prepare project MIS reports, presentations and progress dashboards for management review.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders for timely closure of project action items.
- Support planning and execution of equipment installation, commissioning and SOP readiness activities.
- Maintain project documentation, drawing revisions and planning records.
- Assist in budgeting, project cost tracking and resource planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality and project management requirements.
Experience
5+ years of related work experience
Industry Preferred
Automotive OEM / Auto Component / Industrial Manufacturing / Greenfield Projects
Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering
