Accounts Payable Supervisor / ERP: This is where you come in.
We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor / ERP to lead our Accounts Payable function while serving as a key resource for our ERP system and financial processes. This role is responsible for ensuring invoices are processed accurately and timely, vendor relationships are managed effectively, and AP processes continue to evolve as our business grows.
You’ll be both a hands-on leader and systems problem-solver—someone who can manage the day-to-day AP operation while identifying opportunities to improve workflows, leverage technology, and make our ERP work better for the business.
In return for achieving aggressive goals, you’ll get rewarded with more to own, a ton of growth opportunities, and more freedom than you’ve probably ever had.
Top deliverables in the first year to be a hero:
- Leadership, management, and accountability — Lead, mentor, and develop the AP team while establishing clear expectations, priorities, and accountability.
- Own the AP process — Ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, payment requests, and related transactions.
- ERP ownership and optimization — Serve as a key AP/ERP resource, troubleshoot system issues, identify opportunities for improvement, and help optimize processes and functionality.
- Process improvement — Continuously evaluate AP workflows and implement improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, visibility, and scalability.
- Cross-functional collaboration — Partner with Accounting, Procurement, Operations, IT, and other internal teams to resolve issues and improve financial processes.
- Month-end close — Run and support the monthly A/P close to the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Vendor management — Maintain strong vendor relationships and resolve invoice, payment, and account issues quickly and professionally.
- Reporting and controls — Maintain accurate AP records, monitor key metrics, and ensure appropriate processes and controls are followed.
- Training and support — Develop team members and serve as a go-to resource for AP processes and ERP functionality across the organization.
The Accounts Payable Supervisor / ERP role reports to the Controller and is part of a collaborative team working on a variety of projects and initiatives to support our growing business. This is a highly visible role that interacts with all levels and functions within the organization and will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on how we operate.
