MAB Community Services is seeking a compassionate and innovative Occupational Therapist to join our Vision Rehabilitation and Allied Health team. This unique community-based position serves individuals experiencing vision loss, acquired brain injury (ABI), and participants enrolled in waiver programs. Services are provided in clients’ homes and community settings and focus on maximizing independence, safety, and quality of life.
What You’ll Do
Conduct functional, vision rehabilitation, and home safety assessments
Develop individualized treatment plans and interventions
Recommend adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and environmental modifications
Provide training in compensatory strategies, low-vision techniques, and independent living skills
Collaborate with families, caregivers, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary teams
Complete required clinical documentation and care coordination

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Current Massachusetts Occupational Therapy license
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Two years of clinical experience preferred
Experience with ABI, vision/low-vision rehabilitation, home health, or community-based rehabilitation preferred
