About this role
We are looking for a California Labor & Employment Associate with 2+ years of civil defense litigation experience to join Lydecker’s growing California practice. This is an opportunity for a self-motivated attorney to take ownership of an active caseload, work directly with clients, and develop through hands-on partner mentorship.
What will you be doing?
Manage a caseload of up to 20 matters
Draft pleadings, motions, and written discovery
Take and defend depositions
Attend hearings and advise clients
Support mediations and trials
Key Requirements
Active California Bar license in good standing
2+ years of civil defense litigation experience
Labor and employment experience strongly preferred
Strong writing, communication, and case-management skills
Ability to work independently and meet billable requirements
