Job Summary:
The Sales Associate serves as a trusted client advisor and brand ambassador, delivering personalized luxury experiences through relationship building, product expertise, and exceptional service. This role drives individual sales performance while cultivating long-term customer relationships, representing the Lucchese brand with professionalism, and contributing to an elevated in-store experience.
Success in this role is defined by sales professionalism, relationship building, product knowledge, exceptional communication, and a commitment to continuous learning and development.
Scope of job:
The Sales Associate contributes to store revenue and customer loyalty by:
- Achieving individual sales and KPI targets
- Delivering personalized luxury client experiences that foster long-term loyalty
- Maintaining product presentation, merchandising, and operational standards
- Collaborating effectively with store leadership and peers
- Demonstrating professionalism and accountability
- Building lasting customer relationships through proactive clienteling and follow-up
This role does not hold supervisory or hiring authority.
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Customer Focus
- Delivers personalized, luxury-level client experiences
- Anticipates customer needs and recommends appropriate products
- Builds meaningful, long-term customer relationships through proactive clienteling, personalized follow-up, and exceptional service
- Demonstrates deep knowledge of product, craftsmanship, and brand heritage
- Maintains an active client list and leverages outreach opportunities to drive repeat business and customer loyalty
2. Communicates Effectively
- Brings the Lucchese brand to life by confidently sharing product features, craftsmanship, heritage, and authentic brand stories
- Listens actively to understand customer needs
- Communicates professionally with team members and leadership
- Accurately records customer and transaction information in all systems
- Tailors product recommendations and storytelling to each customer's lifestyle and needs

- Handles merchandise and customer data responsibly

Operational Responsibilities
- Maintain visual merchandising, product presentation, and luxury brand standards throughout the sales floor
- Support inventory processing and replenishment
- Follow cash handling and POS procedures accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of sales floor and stock areas
- Support store events and promotional initiatives
- Ensure merchandise is replenished, organized, and presentation-ready throughout the day
- Support store readiness by maintaining clean, organized, and welcoming sales and stock areas
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong relationship-building and customer engagement skills
- Results-driven and motivated by performance metrics
- Effective verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Basic technology proficiency
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Commission or performance-based sales experience preferred
- Strong clienteling and relationship management skills
- Ability to confidently communicate product craftsmanship, heritage, and brand storytelling
- Professional sales presence with a customer-first mindset
- Commitment to continuous learning and product expertise
Education, Experience, and/or Certifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 0–2 years of retail or customer-facing experience preferred
- Luxury, premium, or commission sales experience preferred
- Ability to maintain luxury presentation standards and operational excellence
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods
- Ability to bend, squat, and climb stairs as needed
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to hear and communicate effectively
Compensation
- Salary Range: $18.25 – $20 per hour
- Plus an incentive compensation plan tied to individual sales performance.
This range represents the good-faith estimate of base pay for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geographical location.
