Overview:

Lockton Midwest is looking for Associate Account Managers (AAM) to join our Risk Solutions Practice. This accelerated training program is designed for self-motivated individuals who are excited by a challenge and looking for consistent personal and professional growth in the insurance industry. We provide a competitive starting salary, developmental training opportunities, classroom learning experiences, and ongoing one-on-one coaching sessions with meaningful feedback. AAM’s will work alongside multiple members of the account team in client consulting to meet risk management needs and positively impact the work we do for our clients.  Together AAMs experience Lockton’s caring diverse culture and at the same time, grow their professional skills for advancement.

Expected Contributions:
•    Successfully completes Lockton Coverage Training Program 
•    Delivers transactional excellence and provides outstanding customer service in support of the broader account team
•    Assists with daily client servicing encompassing strong client and carrier communication
•    Partners with account teams during the client service cycle and proactively completes all designated tasks to meet deadlines
•    Collaborates with various Lockton teams to achieve well-executed results
•    Upholds standards of excellence in line with Lockton’s operating procedures by adhering to standardized policies, processes, and systems
•    Demonstrates organizational and time management skills to prioritize workloads to meet time-sensitive deadlines
•    Communicates in a professional manner to contribute to a cohesive, pleasant work environment, both internally and externally
•    Protects the confidentiality of information learned by performing the duties of the position
•    Shows a commitment to professional growth in the commercial insurance industry by completing relevant classes and workshops
•    Handles special projects as assigned

Compensation and Benefits

Lockton Companies LLC is committed to offering competitive pay and benefits and complies with all relevant state/local pay transparency laws. The entry base salary offered for this opportunity may vary, and is contingent upon candidate education, skills, abilities, essential competencies, experience, professional designations, unique qualifications, and geographic location.

Performance Bonus: This role may be eligible for an annual performance bonus, based upon the financial performance of the organization and the individual contributions of the Associate.

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3.3 GPA or comparable years of corporate experience
•    Lifelong learner who is excited by a challenge and looking for consistent personal and professional growth
•    Ability to self-motivate and work with varying degrees of autonomy or oversight
•    Strong customer service, communication, and project management skills
•    Ability to represent the practice and Lockton with integrity and professionalism at all times
•    Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of client and company information
•    Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy of work product
•    Organizational and time management skills to prioritize heavy workloads and meet time-sensitive deadlines 
•    Willingness to expand knowledge and effectiveness in insurance industry through extended insurance education
•    Proficiency in Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
•    Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed
•    Legal right to work in the United States
