About this role
We are looking for a Senior/Staff Engineer - Design who is both a skilled engineer and a creative artist to join our team. This person should be obsessed with the fine details of user interface and experience, ensuring our product feels as good as it functions. We need someone who brings genuine craft to every component they ship to elevate the quality of our UI from pixel to production.
What will you be doing?
Own the end-to-end design process, from wireframing in Figma to implementation in React/TypeScript.
Build and maintain a scalable design system and component library using shadcn/ui.
Write accessible, production-quality React components with correct ARIA, keyboard, and focus management.
Collaborate with product and engineering to translate complex mortgage workflows into intuitive, elegant user experiences.
Define and enforce visual and interaction design standards to ensure consistency across the product.
