About this role
LLR Partners is seeking a Managing Director of Go-to-Market (“GTM”) to join the leadership team of its Value Creation Team. The Managing Director will report to the Senior Managing Director of Value Creation and will be accountable for helping LLR portfolio of companies accelerate revenue growth, improve commercial productivity, and build scalable go-to-market capabilities.
The ideal candidate will be a proven, repeat Chief Revenue Officer or equivalent senior commercial executive with significant experience scaling SaaS and technology-enabled software businesses. The candidate will bring broad expertise across sales, revenue operations, marketing, customer success, pricing, channels, and commercial strategy, along with the judgment and interpersonal skills required to influence management teams and deal teams without formal authority.
This is a player-coach role. The Managing Director will personally lead high-impact portfolio engagements while managing and developing a team of GTM professionals. The individual will rapidly diagnose the commercial issues and opportunities most material to enterprise value, translate those insights into practical action plans, and stay engaged through execution and measurable results. The Managing Director will be expected to bring or develop practical GTM playbooks, tools, benchmarks, and best practices that can be adapted and deployed across multiple portfolio companies to drive repeatable impact.
The individual will also coordinate closely with the other functional leaders within the Value Creation Team to ensure an integrated approach to portfolio support.
Prior experience in a private equity operating, portfolio support, or value-creation role—particularly at a firm investing in technology companies of similar size—is highly desirable.
