About this role
Making the famous Little Trees air fresheners here in the USA since 1952.
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 4:30 pm to 3:00 am. Overtime may be required based on demand.
Salary: $25.25 per hour, increasing to $26.75 within 6 months, which includes a $3 per hour shift differential.
Summary: The Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, adjusting and repairing manufacturing machinery. Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Responsibilities:
- Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance
- Set up and activate specialized production machinery
- Performs spot weld
- Assembles, installs, and dismantles machinery
- Maintains hand tools in working conditions
- Uses powered pallet jack
- Follows all safety procedures and reports any issues to supervisor
Skills and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year mechanical or related experience
- Basic math skills
- Lift up to 40 pounds
- Stand for long periods of time and climb stairs, bend, lift and push
- Hand eye coordination
- Use of both hands and fingers
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to operate pallet jack.
