Position Summary:

The Safety Field Coordinator supports job site safety efforts for heavy civil and demolition projects by ensuring compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations. This role works closely with field crews and supervisors to identify hazards, promote safe work practices, and maintain a strong safety culture across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:


Perform routine safety inspections on active construction and demolition job sites
Identify hazards and implement corrective actions to prevent incidents
Support and enforce company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA standards
Conduct toolbox talks and assist with ongoing safety training
Investigate incidents, near misses, and injuries, complete required documentation
Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices at all times
Monitor subcontractor compliance with safety requirements
Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation
Partner with project managers and superintendents to proactively address safety concerns


Qualifications:


2+ years of construction safety experience (heavy civil or demolition preferred)
Working knowledge of OSHA regulations
OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certification preferred
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-risk environments

Bilingual is preferred but not necessary.
