About this role
The Quality Assurance Auditor is responsible for conducting product audits on incoming raw material and process audits involving operational processes and documentation. These audits may include verification of construction quality, documentation accuracy and completeness, and the integrity of the packaging. The auditor completes individual audit reports and prepares summary reports weekly and monthly. The auditor is also responsible for performing and documenting Quality Management System audits per established schedule.
In addition, this individual is responsible for performing nonconforming materials data entry and conducting return to vendor / scrap / restock / rework dispositions for in-house goods and materials, including related internal and external communications to OFS, SAP goods movements and database entry / maintenance.
The Quality Auditor is responsible for scheduling, performing, and documenting internal calibrations of certain OFS tools and equipment per established schedule and helping facilitate the annual calibration service of equipment by external providers.
The Quality Auditor must have a good understanding of OFS Carrollton's Quality Manual standards, ISO 9000, ISO 14001, and TL 9000 requirements. Must be able to communicate and work with all areas of the company.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Supervision.
Education, and Certification:
Core skill level requirements as listed (TABE)
High school or equivalent.
Microsoft Word & Excel, preferred.
