LPN/RN Supervisor

We are currently seeking a Full Time RN/LPN Supervisor to join our enthusiastic team!

Shift / Schedule Available: 

• Full Time
• 9:00am - 5:00pm

 
Job Responsibilities:

• Implement and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies & procedures of nursing service department
• Possess the specialized knowledge and clinical skills necessary to provide care for people with physical disability and chronic illness as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to nursing home operation
• Perform hands-on nursing care by utilizing the nursing process to achieve quality outcomes for clients; familiar with organization’s regulations and Artman Lutheran Home’s policies & procedures as they relate to nursing services.
• Maintain the care and use of supplies and equipment.
• Maintain appearance of nursing areas.
• Regularly inspect nursing units for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties.
• Seek out new methods and principles; incorporate them into existing nursing practices.
• Exhibit patience, tact, cheerful disposition, enthusiasm, and willingness to handle difficult residents.
• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills to develop a rapport with clients, their families, and members of the health team to ensure changes in resident treatment plan or condition is passed on to all individuals participating in the care of the resident to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements: 

• Current RN or LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Three years of geriatric nursing experience
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
