About this role
Leon Home Medical is seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team! In this role, the ideal candidate will assess, treat, and support patients with various respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders. The responsibilities include:
- Evaluate respiratory conditions and administer therapies (e.g., oxygen, mechanical ventilation)
- Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed
- Ensure the safe delivery and setup of equipment at the patient's residence, according to ACHC and Leon Home Medical's policies and procedures.

Qualifications
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Patience in dealing with an elderly population and sympathetic to hearing or vision deficiencies.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Licenses/Certifications
- Certifications required: CRT or RT
Language Skills
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required in order to communicate effectively with our patient population
