Team & Position Description:

This role goes well beyond traditional brand management. It’s an opportunity to help shape what comes next for Educational Insights as we continue to evolve how our product lines and properties connect with consumers across content, commerce, fandom, licensing, and entertainment. We're looking for someone who combines strategic thinking, deep consumer curiosity, and collaborative leadership. You should be comfortable moving between big-picture portfolio strategy and the leadership needed to turn those priorities into action across the organization.

What you’ll do day to day:

The Senior Marketing Manager will help define the growth strategy for EI's brand and product portfolio, identifying where and how we should invest, expand, and build for the future across established and emerging lines and properties. You'll help prioritize growth opportunities, shape integrated go-to-market strategies, and identify new ways to extend our reach and impact, driving meaningful business results while ensuring every expression of Educational Insights remains true to the learning and play experiences at our core.

What we’re looking for (Key Performance Objectives):

  • Assess and evolve Educational Insights' brand strategy, annual marketing planning, and investment allocation across priority product lines, with updated brand and investment strategies in place within the first 3 months.
  • Scale discovery-driven marketing programs across creators, social content, livestreaming, PR, paid media, and emerging channels, driving consumer engagement, demand generation, and actionable insights that inform marketing and product decisions within the first 4 months.
  • Lead the continued development of a high-performing marketing team, fostering curiosity, collaboration, accountability, and strong ownership while strengthening capabilities across brand management, product marketing, content, discovery commerce, and emerging technologies, with clear ownership, development plans, and success measures established within the first 6 months.
  • Develop and implement a growth strategy for EI's product portfolio, partnering closely with Product Development and other cross-functional stakeholders to identify investment, innovation, and expansion opportunities that inform annual line reviews and future business priorities within the first 9 months.
  • Partner with Sales to strengthen retailer relationships and expand distribution opportunities, while developing and advancing strategic brand expansion initiatives across licensing, entertainment, partnerships, content, and consumer experiences, with a documented growth roadmap in place within the first 12 months.

Requirements/Ideal Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)
  • 7-10 years’ experience in Brand Marketing, Digital and/or Social Media Marketing
  • Willing to travel approximately 5-10 times/year
  • People management experience
  • Data Driven with excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate or advanced MS Office skills, proficient learning internal enterprise systems
  • Consumer packaged goods or toy industry background preferred
