Job Summary:

The Warehouse Receiving Associate is responsible for receiving, inspecting, organizing, storing, supplies and maintaining cleanliness of facility. This position ensures that incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately, safely, and efficiently while maintaining an organized warehouse environment and inside & out of our facility.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving

Receive and verify incoming shipments, materials, supplies, and equipment against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents.

Inspect deliveries for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and promptly report issues to management.

Accurately document and enter received inventory into the appropriate inventory system.

Label and properly store materials in designated warehouse locations.

 

Shipping

Prepare outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently, including picking, packing, and labeling orders according to company procedures.

∙Verify shipping contents and ensure packages are properly secured to prevent damage during transportation. 

∙Prepare required Shipping documents, packing slips, and other paperwork. 

∙Coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers and couriers.

 

Courier

Pick up samples from clinics and deliver supplies and packages to designated recipients.

Safely handle high-value and confidential items and obtain recipient signatures when required.

Provide professional customer service to individuals using the Courier service.

Communicate effectively with dispatch and promptly report any route, delivery, or other issues.

 

Warehouse & Facility Maintenance

Maintain accurate inventory levels, assist with inventory counts, and monitor expiration dates where applicable.

Organize and maintain warehouse shelves, storage areas, and supplies.

Assist with loading and unloading deliveries.

Safely operate authorized warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and facility.

Maintain exterior areas by sweeping entrances, cleaning front entrance windows, and removing debris from parking areas and around the building.

Maintain restrooms by cleaning, sanitizing, and reporting repair or maintenance needs to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.

 

General Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.

∙ Communicate effectively with coworkers, management, carriers and delivery personnel.

∙ Assist with other warehouse, logistics, and facility duties as assigned. 

∙ Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, organization and workflow. 

 

Required Skills/ Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience preferred.

Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures, inventory control, and basic computer/data-entry processes.

Strong organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills with the ability to accurately count, track, and maintain inventory.

Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Reliable attendance and punctuality with a strong commitment to workplace safety.

Forklift or warehouse equipment experience is a plus.

 

Physical Requirments

∙ Ability to lift and move packages and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Daily tasks include walking, standing, lifting, reaching and bending.
