Warehouse Assistant - 2nd shift

• Coordinate shipment of outgoing goods including the handling of proper documentation and shipment tracing.
• Prepare bills of lading for outbound shipment and contacting motor carries for pickup.
• Consolidate outbound shipments to customers.
• Receive, stock, and deliver goods.
• Assist in counting physical inventory.
• Drive a fork truck and obtain certification for safe operation.
• Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe.
• Receive, track, and distribute materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Understand and follow safety procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Possess a minimum one year of warehouse-related experience required.
• High attention to detail
• Efficient time management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Proven ability to operate a fork truck and other material handling equipment.
• Proven ability to wear required protective equipment and devices.

• Employee must be able to reach with hands and arms.
• The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, and frequently lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use their hands to finger, handle, or feel.
