Purpose of the job:    

Lead cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance sales effectiveness, commercial processes, data quality, and business growth.

Independent execution, monitoring and interpretation of sales related data analyses

Support governance and continuous improvement of Salesforce, ensuring data quality, process compliance, reporting integrity and user adoption.

Analyze sales activities and effectiveness metrics, identify opportunities to increase customer-facing time and improve sales productivity.

 

 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Collect data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems, spreadsheets, and other data analysis tools
  • Interpret and analyze data using statistical techniques, as well as create recurring and one-off reports for sales and/or management
  • (Further) development, troubleshooting and implementation of databases, data acquisition systems, data analysis and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Identify and implement potential process improvements
  • Develop strategies and initiatives/concepts to improve productivity and sales efficiency in collaboration with the Director Commercial Excellence
  • Train and support users in Commercial Excellence tools, reports, Salesforce processes, and best practices to improve adoption and effectiveness.

 

Experience:

  • A completed bachelor degree in a relevant subject
  • Career changers with extensive project knowledge in the handling and analysis of large amounts of data will be considered
  • 3-7 years of experience in Commercial Excellence, Business Analytics, Sales Operations, Pricing, Business Intelligence, Process Improvement or related functions.

 

Functional/Technical Skills:

  • Advanced or expert user skills in MS Power BI
  • Advanced or intermediate user skills in MS Office, sales-supporting CRM systems such as Sales Force
  • Knowledge of sales processes and systems
  • Understanding of complex business contexts
  • Experience in the plastics/film industry is an advantage
  • Knowledge of SAP/Business Warehouse and pricing tools is an advantage
  • Experience in dealing with digital tools, understanding of system interfaces and automation possibilities
  • Robust analytical skills in collecting and evaluating large amounts of data
  • Salesforce administration/reporting experience preferred
  • Experience with process mapping and process improvement methodologies
  • Knowledge of data automation tools (Power Automate, Power Query, AI tools)
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
