As a Collision Estimator, you’ll be the trusted guide for customers throughout the repair process. Your expertise ensures accuracy, efficiency, and confidence—for both customers and insurance partners.
- Prepare accurate, timely estimates using industry‑standard software
- Guide customers through the repair experience with professionalism and care
- Collaborate with technicians, production teams, and insurers to ensure smooth workflow
- Stay current on modern repair methods, vehicle technology, and insurer requirements
- Assess damage on EVs, hybrids, ADAS‑equipped vehicles, and vehicles with advanced materials, ensuring OEM‑compliant repair planning
- Identify when high‑voltage safety procedures, calibrations, or specialized EV processes are required
- Support quality, safety, and operational excellence through accurate repair planning
- Contribute to a positive, high‑performance shop environment
What You Bring
- 2+ years of collision estimating experience
- Strong automotive knowledge and understanding of repair processes
- Familiarity with insurance procedures, guidelines, and industry standards
- Proficiency with estimating software (Mitchell, Audatex, or similar)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
