Summary:
This position will lead the production team in an efficient, safe, cost effective, and quality focused atmosphere while performing various administrative and production activities to ensure product meets or exceeds established Aromair specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; resolving problems; reporting results and issues in daily DDS meetings.
- Accomplishes departmental goals by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, updating production boards, and reviewing job results.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment.
- Resolve personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.
- Train new associates and current associates on equipment.
- Create and sustain a highly motivated team while developing skills for continuous improvement of team performance.
- Actively encourage and apply lean techniques and processes.
- Ensure the team is wearing the required PPE and always following safety standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot problems and use available resources to provide effective solutions.
- Perform special assignments when requested.
- Exhibits behaviors supportive of our KDC/one Values.
- Completes SOPs, Work Instructions, and other paperwork according to established company policy.
- Maintains confidentiality of customer information, and other sensitive and confidential information.
- Exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as needed due to production demands. Performs other related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Computer proficient with Microsoft Office applications, and SAP experience is preferred.
